Referral marketing disclosure

Who you are actually dealing with when you ring the number on this site, how the money moves, and why none of it changes your price.

What this website actually is

Clarksville Roof Co. is a local roofing brand that finds homeowners with roof problems and matches them to vetted independent roofing contractors working across Clarksville, Montgomery County, Fort Campbell and the surrounding towns in Tennessee and southern Kentucky. We publish the guides, we answer the phone at any hour, we take the details and we arrange the visit. The person who climbs your ladder works for an independent contracting business carrying its own general liability and workers' compensation cover, and holding whatever Tennessee contractor licence the size of your project requires.

We say this plainly on the page rather than burying it, because a homeowner is entitled to know who is standing in their driveway and who the agreement they sign is actually with.

Where the money comes from

Contractors pay us for the work we send them. Depending on the arrangement that may be a fee per booked inspection, a share of a completed job, or a monthly figure for the introductions in a given area. There is no version of this where you pay us anything: you have no contract with Clarksville Roof Co. and no invoice from us.

The contractor's price to you is set by the contractor, from their own measurements of your roof. We do not add a margin on top of their number, and we do not have a mechanism to do so even if we wanted one, because their estimate goes to you directly.

What that means for you in practice

You are not paying a middleman

Our fee is a cost the contractor carries as a marketing expense, in the same way they would carry a truck wrap or a radio spot.

We chose the contractor, so complaints are ours too

We checked their insurance and licensing before sending anybody to you, which is why a complaint about their work is a complaint we take seriously. See the complaints policy.

Nothing obliges you to proceed

The inspection and the written estimate cost nothing and carry no commitment. Taking that estimate to two other roofers is a sensible thing to do and we would rather you did.

Ask who you are signing with

The contract for the work is between you and the contracting business. Ask for the name on it, and look that name up at verify.tn.gov yourself.

If any of this is unclear, or you want to know the specific arrangement covering your job, ask. Ring (931) 410-6271 or write to hello@clarksvilleroofco.com and you will get a straight answer rather than a brochure.
